Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, ventilator support, and conscious sedation
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using an electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown or equivalent RN experience
• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with conscious sedation, ventilator management, and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting
