Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing elective surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Assist with preoperative assessments, intraoperative support, and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and policies, including use of EMR systems.
• Maintain a flexible and team-oriented approach within a high-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license and current registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital acute care OR RN experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Cardiovascular, or General Surgery.
• Familiarity with robotic surgeries and advanced surgical procedures.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
