Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Neuro Med/Surg/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and document patient conditions using Meditech electronic health records.
• Assist with procedures including IV starts, wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains and tubes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to prioritize patient care and ensure safety.
• Foster personal connections with patients and families, including bedside shift reports and involvement in care planning.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of relevant RN experience in Med/Surg, Neuro, or Stepdown units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IV placement, wound management, and use of monitoring equipment such as telemetry and pulse oximeters
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
