Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day/Evening Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 11:00 AM–11:00 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing including pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis to assess lung and cardiac conditions
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Provide emergency respiratory care as needed
• Administer medications and manage respiratory equipment including mechanical ventilators
• Educate patients and families on managing breathing disorders and operating necessary equipment
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in accordance with clinical standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential will not be considered
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to work 12-hour day and evening shifts as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy setting
• Familiarity with mechanical ventilator management in a clinical environment
