Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Contract / Travel)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Utilize unit equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day and night shifts
- Adhere to unit attendance policies, dress code requirements, and established clinical guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- STABLE certification and intermediate fetal monitoring competency
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency
- Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency and C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
- Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
