Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural care for interventional cardiac patients including angiogram, elective PCI, cardioversion, TEE, and structural heart procedures
• Manage care for electrophysiology patients including ablation, lead placement, and pacer placement
• Administer blood and blood products, procedure sedation, and stable cardiac drips including Heparin and Insulin
• Perform sheath removal, epicardial pacer management, and cardioversion/defibrillation
• Interpret and manage telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Float to like units as required; maintain flexibility within the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac or procedural nursing
• Strong IV skills and sheath pull experience required
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pre- and post-TAVR, Mitral Clip, and same-day structural heart procedure recovery
• Familiarity with TEE and procedure sedation protocols
• Background in high-acuity interventional cardiac or step-down environments
