Contract | Rotating Shifts (8- and 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and implement protocols for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders or associated complications, including NICU, PICU, and adult populations
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilation (NIV) therapy, including high-frequency ventilation (Jet & HFOV), nitric oxide administration, and support for gestational ages 22 weeks and above
• Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, medication delivery, and airway clearance therapies
• Assist with intubations, extubations, tracheostomy changes and decannulation, and high-risk deliveries
• Participate in emergency response teams, ICU rounds, and intra-hospital patient transport
• Operate and manage a broad range of respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5 & C1, Bunnell HFJV, 3100 A & B HFOV, Infant Flow SiPAP, Bubble CPAP, Aerogen, and various NIV and home ventilator platforms

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience, with specialization in NICU and/or PICU; adult experience also beneficial
• Level 4 NICU experience required, including high-frequency ventilation (Jet & HFOV), nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries, and care of micro-premature infants (gestational age 22 weeks and above)
• RRT (NBRC) required; CRT will be considered
• Active North Dakota state license (NDSBRC) required or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with both NICU and PICU patient populations, with additional adult general floor experience
• Familiarity with Epic documentation and Omnicell medication cabinet systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with rapidly changing patient conditions
