Travel RN – ED Flow Navigator / Emergency Department

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an ED Flow Navigator in a high-volume emergency department with 101 beds, supporting patient throughput and care coordination across all sections of the ED
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4:1 for medical patients, with flexibility up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Uphold patient experience standards including AIDET, respectful communication, and consistent board and patient updates throughout each visit
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members while demonstrating a strong teamwork mentality
• Float within all sections of the ED as needed to meet departmental staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an emergency department setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Ability to work every other weekend and adapt to scheduling needs of the department; block scheduling is not available
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Demonstrated ability to coach staff and provide constructive feedback in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience serving diverse, multicultural patient populations
