Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing to patients admitted and awaiting inpatient bed availability, including those boarded in designated areas or hallway settings
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry capacity within a Level I Emergency Department environment
• Float to acute care areas as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and transitions

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care or Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and select holidays
• Willingness to float within scope of practice to meet facility needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or boarding/overflow patient care setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Flexibility to accommodate a block scheduling format
