Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district curriculum standards to support student learning and achievement.
• Create and maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and student engagement.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and classroom participation; provide feedback and adjust instructional methods to support student growth.
• Implement differentiated instruction and individualized support to address varying academic needs among students.
• Collaborate with school counselors, administrators, special education staff, and fellow teachers to support student success and school initiatives.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress, academic performance, and classroom expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required.
• Valid Georgia state teaching certification required.
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and classroom responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience in a school-based classroom setting.
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting students academically and socially.
