Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore functional ability
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Follow departmental protocols and adhere to all safety and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in acute care settings
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must be able to work 8-hour day shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar acute care facility
• Certification in advanced areas of physical therapy or relevant specialties
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems and electronic health records
