Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times (7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 3:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting throughout the perioperative process
• Adapt to variable shift start times as assigned based on departmental needs
• Float within the contracted facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as required
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and on an annual basis
• Participate in holiday coverage, working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Willingness to float to affiliate facilities within the region
• Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or surgical environment
• Familiarity with multi-facility health system workflows and floating protocols
