Job Title

• Registered Nurse - CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

• Gainesville, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 12-week duration, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing care in the CVOR for cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, and VATS.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, surgeons, and technical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately using Meditech system.
• Manage patient care with a focus on 1:1 patient ratios in a high-acuity environment.
• Follow facility-specific policies, including dress code and unit guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Prior circulating RN experience in a cardiac or vascular surgical setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and VATS.
• Strong knowledge of Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
