Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established patient care plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland
• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
• Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule of 5x8-hour shifts per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation processes
