Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 13–26 Week Contracts Available
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment, supporting approximately 98 patients per 24-hour period
- Conduct CT procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
- Provide diagnostic imaging services for inpatient, emergency, and trauma populations, including adult ICU patients
- Operate GE and Siemens CT equipment and document within EPIC and Synapse-Fuji systems
- Participate in on-call coverage, not to exceed two 12-hour shifts per month
- Float within or near the facility as required and adhere to weekend scheduling every weekend
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification with RT(R)(CT) designation; AART Advanced Certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with contrast administration and PACS systems
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC and Synapse-Fuji documentation systems
- NC state license or Compact license (pending acceptable for submission)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in outpatient settings or specialty units such as NICU or PICU
- Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
- Background in teaching hospital or children's hospital environments
