Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac infusions
• Deliver pre- and post-operative procedural care for Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process
• Serve as a patient advocate, providing support, education, and direct care to patients and families
• Utilize equipment and technology skillfully while maintaining technical competence in nursing procedures
• Assist with inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; must hold licensure in state of permanent residency
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 12 months of employment
• Ability to work weekends per unit need and overtime on occasion

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in telemetry, cardiac, or a related acute care nursing specialty
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment and cardiovascular patient populations
