Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate for a wide variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, robotics, transplant (kidney and liver), orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT (head and neck), GYN, urology, bariatric, and major plastic reconstruction
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in a Level I Trauma surgical environment across a 10-room OR suiteSupporting organ procurement procedures as needed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout all phases of the operative experience
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and unit-specific standards of practice
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Demonstrated experience in kidney transplant, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic trauma, and robotic surgery
- Proficiency in both scrub and circulator roles
- Transplant, trauma, and neuro OR experience required
- Ability to work night shift with no on-call requirements during contracted nights
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ENT (head and neck), GYN, urology, bariatric, or major plastic reconstruction procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity Level I Trauma OR setting
- Familiarity with liver transplant procedures in addition to kidney transplant
