Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg Float Pool, rotating across up to five Medical Surgical units as needed
• Float to the Emergency Room as needed based on census and staffing demands
• Manage an adult patient population (ages 18+) with general Medical Surgical care needs
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios within the range of 1:1 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including required weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be on file at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to float across multiple Med/Surg units and to the ER as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with general adult Medical Surgical patient populations
