Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Midshift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Possible Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform head-to-toe patient assessments
• Provide nursing care for residents with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, diabetes, dementia, and rehabilitation needs
• Manage IV therapy for fluids and antibiotics as indicated
• Serve in possible charge nurse capacity as needed
• Float throughout the facility as required
• Participate in orientation including Relias modules, skills check-off, and unit-based orientation days

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Familiarity with or ability to learn Point Click Care EMR
• Ability to work in a locked dementia unit environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IV therapy administration (fluids and antibiotics)
• Experience working with BIPAP/CPAP patients (no ventilated patients on unit)
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed but not required
