Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Weekend-Focused Schedule (Every Friday and Saturday night, plus either Thursday or Sunday night)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac-Neuro ICU (CNICU) setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, or up to 2–3 depending on patient acuity
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Monitor and respond to changes in neurological and cardiac patient status, applying critical care protocols as appropriate
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Participate in holiday and on-call coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of strong ICU experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiac or Neurological ICU environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations requiring complex critical care management
