Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours per week | 13-week contract | Every other weekend | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float within skillset to other units as needed to meet staffing demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to all facility policies, including attendance and make-up time requirements prior to contract end

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Connecticut
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience (PCU or ICU experience may be considered)
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to float within skillset as required
• Availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
