Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:3.5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform triage assessments and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer emergency medications and support procedural sedation
• Manage ventilated patients, trauma cases, psychiatric holds, and pediatric emergencies
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and administer medications via Pyxis
• Float to additional units as required and work every other or every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license (compact or state license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Experience in a stroke-certified and STEMI-certified facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
