Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure monitoring
- Monitor and assess patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality protocols within the cath lab environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and cath lab equipment and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or procedural specialty
- Familiarity with electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures and equipment
- Experience in a full-service acute care or surgical hospital environment
