Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure monitoring
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality protocols within the cath lab environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and cath lab equipment and protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or procedural specialty
• Familiarity with electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures and equipment
• Experience in a full-service acute care or surgical hospital environment
