Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health populations
• Deliver high-acuity care in a facility with specialized services including a cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Respond to STEMI and stroke emergencies in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted; current driver's license required to confirm address)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity, multi-specialty emergency department environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
