Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and provide treatments in a long-term care/hospital setting
- Administer medications and notify physicians or nurse practitioners of pertinent information
- Assist with patient admittance and discharge procedures
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Perform specialized care including Gastrostomy Tube, Urinary Catheter, Nebulized Treatment, Wound Vac, CPAP, and Tracheostomy care
- Complete other assigned nursing duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Registered Nurse license (must be obtained prior to start date for candidates without an active license)
- Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and treatments
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Knowledge of specialized medical devices and procedures related to respiratory and wound care
