Tech Cath Lab/EP

Job Title

• Cath Lab Tech (Travel) – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

• Fort Walton Beach, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel / Days shifts / 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, PCI, and device implants.
• Assist with procedures involving structural heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR.
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, and Meditech systems.
• Ensure patient safety and care during high-acuity cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines, including dress code and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or equivalent setting.
• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, IABP, and related systems.
• Ability to assist with complex procedures such as PCI, PFO, TAVR, and device implants.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural heart procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and imaging systems.
• Comfortable with self-scheduling and floating within EP and Stress Lab departments.
