Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Administer breathing treatments, BiPAP setup, and oxygen delivery to patients across assigned unit
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and conduct walk tests
• Manage and maintain ventilator settings and perform ventilator maintenance using 840 and 980 vents, V60 and V30 BiPAPs, and Airogen equipment
• Assist with intubation procedures as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the MediTech documentation system
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent hospital staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Active RRT or CRT credential required
• Valid South Carolina state respiratory therapy license
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• General respiratory skill set including ventilator management, breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP, and oxygen delivery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of clinical respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Familiarity with MediTech electronic documentation systems
• Prior travel therapy experience in a comparable hospital environment
