Travel Mammography Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (26-Week Assignment) | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; occasional Saturday half-days every 3–4 months
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations using Hologic equipment, including contrast enhanced mammography (CEM)
- Operate and maintain 3 mammography units within a dedicated breast diagnostic center
- Utilize documentation systems including Penrad, Sectra, Ambry, and Expanse for imaging, high-risk breast program management, and patient registration
- Deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Adhere to department dress code and unit-specific guidelines and policies
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Mammography
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently performing both screening and diagnostic exams
- Excellent patient care skills and ability to function effectively as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Hologic mammography equipment
- Familiarity with contrast enhanced mammography (CEM) procedures
- Experience with Penrad, Sectra, Ambry, or Expanse documentation systems
