Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and the Baby Unit during night shift hours
  • Float to other units within the facility as needed to meet staffing demands
  • Care for overflow patients from the Progressive Care Unit as required
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the labor, delivery, and post-partum process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
  • Ability to float to multiple units and adapt to varying patient care needs
  • Comfortable working in a Critical Access Hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in Post-Partum and newborn/baby unit care
  • Prior experience with Progressive Care Unit or similar step-down patient populations
  • Familiarity with small or rural hospital settings
