Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
Atlanta, Georgia
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET imaging services
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately within the electronic health record system
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Active NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume PET imaging environment
- Familiarity with departmental quality control and radiation safety procedures
