Registered Nurse – Oncology (Outpatient Infusion / Bone Marrow Transplant)

Contract | Days | 4x9.5-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage chemotherapy and biotherapy, including investigational protocols
• Perform transfusions of blood, platelets, and fresh frozen plasma
• Conduct port draws, phlebotomy, central line access, and central line care
• Assist in procedural area including bone marrow biopsy/aspiration with minimal analgesia and patient recovery
• Monitor and manage chemotherapy/biotherapy-related toxicities
• Monitor and manage patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities including repletion

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state required at time of submittal
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; must include outpatient infusion clinic experience (inpatient oncology experience may be considered as part of total experience but does not substitute for outpatient infusion clinic experience)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• Two professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with autologous or allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients and/or CAR-T patients
• Familiarity with rotating through multiple clinic areas including infusion/day hospital, lab/port draw, and procedural suites
