Travel PICU/NICU Respiratory Therapist (RTT)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4 weekend shifts required per four-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in PICU and NICU settings, including Level 2, 3, and 4 NICU environments
- Perform intubations and surfactant administration
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Crossvent, Airvo, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Evolve Nitric Oxide, Pneuton, and Oscillator A
- Participate in delivery room respiratory support and neonatal resuscitation
- Float as needed to Adult ICU, general floors, PICU, and pediatric units
- Adhere to strict time and attendance requirements, clocked in and ready for report no later than 18:37
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 1 year of experience; NICU (Level 3) and/or PICU experience required — adult-only experience will not be considered
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Delivery room experience required
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric critical care experience in addition to neonatal experience
- Adult respiratory therapy experience as a complement to neonatal/pediatric background
- Quick learner who adapts well in a fast-paced clinical environment
