Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting within a critical access facility
- Float within the OB department as needed, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to perform multiple clinical duties across departments given the small, multifaceted nature of the facility
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in orientation sessions held exclusively on Tuesdays
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- PALS certification (AHA, ARC, or ENPC)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, or SANE certification
- Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital environment
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
