Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adapt to evolving departmental workflows, including an upcoming EHR system transition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department RN
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to EHR transitions and changing clinical environments
