Travel RN – Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular OR)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operating room environment within a pediatric cardiovascular surgical setting, ensuring readiness and safety throughout all procedures
- Assist surgeons during cardiac and open heart surgical procedures as well as procedures across multiple service lines including orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, and plastics
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical cases
- Provide pre- and post-operative care in accordance with unit protocols and best practices
- Collaborate effectively with charge RNs, surgical technologists, anesthesia teams, and service line leaders
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in cardiac and open heart surgery — required for consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric clinical experience in a surgical or cardiovascular setting
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines
- Familiarity with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
- Experience with Belmont Rapid Infusion equipment
