Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Oncology unit within a short-term acute care facility
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology and medical-surgical patients
  • Accurately document patient information and care activities using EPIC electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Complete required compliance modules prior to start and on an annual basis

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license not accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
  • Ability to submit all requested time-off prior to or at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
  • 3 or more years of Med Surg experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
