Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Oncology unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology and medical-surgical patients
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Complete required compliance modules prior to start and on an annual basis
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to submit all requested time-off prior to or at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
- 3 or more years of Med Surg experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
