Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Performs and assists with pain procedure injections in an OR setting, including Pre-Op and PACU care
• Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identifies issues and available resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License in state of employment or valid compact license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Experience in pain procedures, Pre-Op, OR, and PACU settings
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a pain management or surgical environment
