Occupational Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Acute Care and Inpatient Rehab

Schedule / Job Type
Part-Time, Days, 1 shift per week, occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy support in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Assist licensed therapists with patient evaluations and therapy implementations.
• Help develop and implement patient care plans under supervision.
• Support patients in regaining functional abilities following injury or illness.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure or certification.
• Previous experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with diverse patient populations in hospital settings.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy procedures and protocols.
