Travel Surgical Scrub Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM) | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including total joint arthroplasty, multi-level spinal fusions, and robotic-assisted cases (GYN, colorectal, general)
- Operate and support the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system during applicable proceduresFunction as patient advocate throughout the perioperative process, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Work as part of the night shift team, consisting of a charge RN and scrub tech in-house with call team backup
- Participate in on-call rotation, averaging approximately 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per scheduling period
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and case management
Required Qualifications
- Active NBSTSA certification (required; candidates without this certification will not be considered)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of surgical scrub technologist experience
- Demonstrated experience with total joint arthroplasty and orthopedic procedures
- Experience with neuro/spinal fusion procedures (orthopedic or neuroservice)
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical cases
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Broad surgical experience across multiple service lines within a high-volume operating room environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong collaborative communication skills
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
