Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum couplets (mother and newborn) in a 34-bed private couplet room unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:3–4 couplets per shift alongside a charge nurse, fellow RNs, and PCT/secretary support
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Alaris pumps, bilirubin blankets, and bilirubin lights
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Assist with circumcisions and care of patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
• Float as helping hands to Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Mother Baby / Postpartum experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to work weekends as required; no on-call shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
• STABLE certification
• Team-oriented with a passion for patient education
