Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-Call: 1500–0630 weekdays; 48-hour on-call weekends | Approximately 10–12 call days per month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral vascular procedures
• Support pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular invasive equipment within an 8-bed cath lab environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and cardiovascular technologists to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Document patient information and procedural data accurately using Meditech EMR
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekday and weekend coverage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
• Active ACLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Active BLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Proficiency with cardiovascular invasive equipment and cath lab procedures
• Ability to meet on-call requirements, including weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred; candidates holding this credential will be given priority consideration
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrated team-player attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced cath lab environment
