Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call required approximately 10–12 days per month (1500–0630) and on-call 48 hours on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral procedures
• Support pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implant procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular invasive equipment within an 8-bed cath lab unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CV technologists to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Document patient care activities accurately using Meditech EMR
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including evenings, nights, and weekends

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Active ACLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Active BLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Proficiency with cardiovascular invasive equipment and procedures
• Ability to meet on-call requirements as outlined by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced cath lab environment
