Registered Nurse – Acute Inpatient Behavioral Health (Psychiatric)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid-Shift 5x8s (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) | 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute inpatient behavioral health setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for psychiatric patients
• Monitor patient behavior and safety, applying de-escalation techniques as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute inpatient behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active CPI certification (blue card required – must be current at time of submission)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced acute inpatient psychiatric environment
• Familiarity with MediTech in addition to Epic
