Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location
Olathe, KS
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with one scheduled day off per week; occasional extended hours to complete cases; on-call required 1–2 weekday shifts per week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and every 3rd or 4th weekend; holiday coverage based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology (Cath/IR) lab
- Float to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as needed
- Assist with pacemaker procedures and related cardiac interventions
- Participate in on-call coverage including weekday and weekend shifts as scheduled
- Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free workplace requirements
- Document and manage patient information using the EPIC EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Ability to float to the EP Lab
- Experience with pacemakers
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of combined Cath/IR and EP Lab experience
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
