Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on spine and post-operative patients
- Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 in collaboration with LPN and PCT support staff
- Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
- Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs across an 18–20 bed unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Travel RN background with ability to adapt quickly to a new unit environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Burn care experience
- Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
