  • Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Travel)
**Location**
  • Asheville, NC
**Schedule / Job Type**
  • Travel, Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
**Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide specialized nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity labor and delivery unit.
  • Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergent situations with appropriate interventions.
  • Assist with childbirth procedures, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
  • Operate and manage fetal monitoring equipment and other clinical tools essential to patient care.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely and effective patient care.
**Required Qualifications**
  • Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • High-risk obstetric care experience required.
  • Certification in BLS/ALS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
  • Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
**Preferred Experience / Skills**
  • Circulating nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
