Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries and medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
• Perform patient assessments and document care using Epic electronic health record system
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, managing high-acuity and complex patient cases
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary emergency department team across a large, state-of-the-art facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department setting
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an emergency department context
