Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (Excluding On-Call Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care using electronic health record systems
• Administer and electronically record medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
• Manage patient care across a large, state-of-the-art emergency department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required
• Candidates must not have worked with the hiring health system (in any capacity — permanent, per diem, or contract) within the past 6 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, high-volume emergency department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
