Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy Laboratory setting, supporting pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Perform and assist with procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS and their variations
• Function as part of an intra-operative team of two, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio intra-op and 1:2 ratio in pre/post-op
• Perform infection control, manual cleaning, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes using Olympus equipment and reprocessing protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight, weekend, and opening shifts as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care Endoscopy RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within an intra-operative team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PACU experience
• Hands-on experience with Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing procedures
• Experience circulating and performing tech procedures in an Endoscopy setting
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
