Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation facility.
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Perform daily treatments including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training.
- Track and document treatment time and charges to ensure compliance with unit requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months current acute care physical therapy experience.
- BLS certification.
- Knowledge of treatment equipment such as ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer tools, and vital machines.
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Meditech Magic.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Neuro rehabilitation certification or experience.
