CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every 3rd weekend shift: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM (Saturday/Sunday) | On-call rotation: one day every 10 weeks, must be available within one hour of call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion imaging
- Operate CT equipment efficiently to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards
- Work effectively across multiple care settings including the ER, Adult ICU, Operating Room, and outpatient areas within a Level I Trauma and Stroke Accredited facility
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent imaging needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARRT certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment including emergent and trauma situations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call duties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT Advanced CT certification preferred
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Stroke Accredited facility
- Experience working across diverse care settings including ER, ICU, and Operating Room environments
